These noble prophetic traditions deal with sublime subjects; I chose them from among the prophetic traditions of one whose speech is generic and who pronounces nothing under the influence of passion, it is nothing other than an inspired revelation.

Among these prophetic traditions, some call for the oneness of Allah and to devote exclusive and sincere worship to Him and some (of these prophetic traditions) warn against association (with Allah) and (religious) innovations and the deadly sins and some call for the love of Allah and His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم and the believers and some call for clinging to the Quran and the Sunnah and following the path of the rightly guided caliphs and the well-guided imams.
