It is reported in a mutawâtir manner from Ibn Abî Dâwûd. May Allah have mercy on him, and many men of science report it from him, such as Al Ajurî, Ibn Battah, Ibn Shâhîn, as well as others. And these last three were among the author's students. Many men of science have explained it... This is a great poem which clarifies the true belief upon which the People of the Sunnah and the Group stood. It shows the greatness of its author, the generosity of his knowledge, his good belief and his sincere advice. ".
